PayThruPost Lucky Draw Promotion
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By participating in the PayThruPost Lucky Draw Promotion ("Lucky Draw") (Trade Promotion Competition Licence No.: 39103), participants agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
Customers who settle government bills and utility bills (except those from Hongkong Post ("HKP")) through PayThruPost Service of "HKP" during the promotion period from 27 August to 15 November 2012 will be eligible for the lucky draw and stand a chance to win fabulous prizes.
Participants must be over 18 years old on or before the date of bill payment(s) through PayThruPost Service. Employees of HKP and their immediate family members are not eligible for the Lucky Draw.
Any bill payments made through PayThruPost Service rejected by HKP or any other government departments or being the subject of a dispute between HKP and a customer is not eligible for the Lucky Draw.
Multiple entries to the Lucky Draw are permitted. Each bill number will be entitled to one prize only. Duplicate entries of the same bill payment will not be accepted.
A lucky draw number will be assigned to a bill payment made through PayThruPost Service, which will be printed on a PayThruPost Lucky Draw ticket for an automatic entry to the Lucky Draw. No registration is required. No replacement for the tickets will be made once customers leave the counter.
The lucky draws will be held at the premises of HKP on 30 November 2012.
The decision of the Postmaster General ("PMG") on disputes relating to the Lucky Draw shall be final, conclusive and binding on all the participants and winners. No correspondence, complaint or appeal will be entertained in this regard.
The prizes of the lucky draws are as follows:-

Results of the lucky draws will be announced in The Standard and Sing Tao Daily and posted on HKP's website on 7 December 2012.
Participants are required to check the Lucky Draw results by themselves. No individual notifications will be sent to winners.
To claim his/her prize, the winner must present the relevant original PayThruPost Lucky Draw ticket, relevant original bill, official receipt (if any) (photocopy is not accepted) and a valid proof of identity and age to the satisfaction of the PMG. In certain circumstances, the PMG may request the winner to produce the for redemption purpose. Failure to present the relevant original PayThruPost Lucky Draw ticket, a valid proof of identity and age, the relevant original bill or official receipt (if applicable) will result in the disqualification of the winner and forfeiture of the prize. All winners must call (852)2921 6138 for registration and arranging date for prize redemption on or before 14 December 2012. Late registration will not be entertained. All prizes must be claimed on or before 31 March 2013.
All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash, credit or benefit in kind.
If a winner is subsequently disqualified or found to be ineligible for the Lucky Draw, the PMG reserves the right to withhold the prize, or reclaim the same if awarded, and award it to a reserve winner.
Any violation of these Terms and Conditions by any participant will result in such participant's disqualification for the Lucky Draw.
Prior consent shall be obtained from the Office of the Licensing Authority under the Home Affairs Department for the matters listed below:
to amend or supplement these Terms and Conditions before the campaign starts;
to withdraw or cancel any prize, or replace the prize with any other prize which, in the opinion of the Postmaster General, is of equal or similar value before the campaign starts.
The personal data collected may be used for the Lucky Draw, resolution of any dispute arising in connection with the Lucky Draw and any other purpose connected with the Lucky Draw. Participants have the right of access and correction with respect to their personal data as provided for in Sections 18 and 22 and Principle 6 of Schedule 1 of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. The right of access includes the right to obtain a copy of the participant's personal data. Enquiries concerning the personal data collected and request for access and correction should be addressed to Personal Data Protection Officer, Management Services Division, Hongkong Post Headquarters, 2 Connaught Place, Central, Hong Kong.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither the PMG nor the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region ("HKSARG") accepts any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any damage, loss, death or personal injury arising from or in connection with the use or enjoyment of any of the prizes.
Neither the HKSARG nor the PMG is the source supplier of any of the prizes to be awarded in the Lucky Draw. Any disputes arising from the use or enjoyment of any of the prizes shall be resolved between the winners and the relevant source suppliers. Prize redemption is subject to the operating terms and conditions of the relevant source suppliers, for which the PMG and the HKSARG accept no responsibility or liability whatsoever.
The invalidity, illegality or unenforceability of any of these Terms and Conditions shall not affect the remainder of these Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the Hong Kong courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to deal with all matters relating to these Terms and Conditions.
In case of discrepancies between the English version and the Chinese version of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
